Quad Pharma cc specializes in training on Medicine Registration in South Africa, Regulatory Affairs for the pharmaceutical industry and GMP.
Quad Pharma c.c. was established by John Alexopoulos in October 1995 as a GMP consulting company to the pharmaceutical industry. John, although still a member officially retired in June 2016.
Joy Berry-Baker joined Quad Pharma cc in 1996 and launched the training arm of the company with the first training workshop, Medicine Registration Basic, being held in March of that year.
Quad Pharma cc was first approved by the South African Pharmacy Council as a provider of education and training in February 2001. Review by SAPC is conducted every 5 years and Quad Pharma c.c. has kept pace with the changing focus in education and training so maintaining its accreditation status over the years.
The fast-changing regulatory environment and increased dependence on IT led to a need to expand the Company expertise. This resulted in Dr Dorcas Peta (regulatory expertise) and Mark Berry (IT) joining in 2017. Quad Pharma cc is also proud to have participated in the development of the eQALs eCTD building software in association with software developer Robin Baker and is the sole supplier of the eQALs Suite of eCTD/eSubmission Software solutions.
